the church inn was amazing! the communal area had everything, even a washing machine, which is perfect for longer stays. our deluxe double room was stunning, with a super comfy bed. it’s also close to a bus stop into the city, making it easy to explore. definitely a place I'd return to!

Getting to the room involves a walk through a pub garden that could use some attention—broken furniture and litter detract from the overall first impression. The location sits within a lively housing estate, which means noise from locals can spill into the night. The basin in the bathroom is on the small side, making it a bit tricky for someone who likes a bit more space. On a couple of occasions, I noticed the TV didn’t have a remote, which can be a hassle. parking felt less secure since there seemed to be no designated area or oversight.

The communal area is thoughtfully designed, has everything you could need, including a washing machine, and feels more like a home than just a room above a pub. My room was stunning, spacious, and had a very comfy bed, making it a perfect retreat. I would love to come back again and would definitely recommend this place. The only downside was the self-check-in process, which could be improved for better clarity.

Had a great time enjoying the local sights, especially the nearby parks and museums. The room was super clean and offered great kitchen facilities, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. A mirror in the bedroom would have been helpful, and better towel hanging arrangements in the bathroom would be beneficial. it was a nice experience with easy access to public transport.
